ARLINGTON, Texas - After Philip Rivers and Peyton Manning torched their defence, the Dallas Cowboys get no respite. Up next are Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins. The 2011 Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor returns to Texas after embarrassing Dallas with a huge second quarter to win his first NFL game in his home state last Thanksgiving. Coverage begins with Football Night in America, tonight at 7pm et/4pm pt on TSN. Kickoff follows at 8:15pm et/5:15pm pt. Dallas defenders are at a low point again because Tony Romos franchise-record 506 yards passing and five touchdowns werent enough in a 51-48 loss to Manning and Denver last weekend. "Weve got a sense of pride in this group," Dallas defensive tackle Jason Hatcher said. "I know Im hurting because Im part of this defence. One thing weve got to do, weve got to clean it up. We got another good quarterback coming in here." The Redskins go into Sunday nights game at the $1.2 billion home of the Cowboys with similar problems. Theyre last in the NFL in passing defence, one spot behind Dallas. But Washington is coming off a win over Oakland and a bye after starting the season 0-3, while the Cowboys are trying to avoid their first three-game losing streak since 2010. "Yeah, that was our goal — go into that last game before the bye week, get the win, allow that momentum to carry us the rest of the way throughout the season," said Griffin, who threw for more than 300 yards in all three losses. "I think everybody has the right mindset coming back rejuvenated, ready to go." Griffin and Alfred Morris combined to give Washington its first sweep of Dallas since 2005 last year. Griffin completed all eight passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-point second quarter, and the Redskins held on for a 38-31 win on Thanksgiving. In the finale with the NFC East title on the line, Morris rushed for a career-high 200 yards and three scores in a 28-18 victory. That put the Redskins in the playoffs for the first time in five years and extended Dallas post-season drought to three years. But now Griffin is less of a dual threat while he continues his recovery from knee surgery, and Morris isnt getting the same number of carries because the Redskins fell behind in all three losses. "Theyre best when they hand him the ball," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said of Morris. "Hes a good football player and they want to run the football. And we have to be prepared to stop him because a lot of what they do comes off his success running the football." Here are five things to know as the Redskins go for their first three-game winning streak against the Cowboys since 1988: ROUGH WEEK FOR ROMO: Hes getting beaten up again for another late-game mistake that spoiled an otherwise sublime day. This time it was Danny Trevathans interception at the Dallas 24 in the final two minutes, leading to Denvers winning field as time expired. "He played his butt off," Hatcher said. "We didnt give them a chance to win. So its on the defence." NICKNAME DEBATE: The Redskins are playing their first game since President Barack Obama joined others in saying the team should consider changing its nickname over concerns that its offensive to Native Americans. And this week, owner Daniel Snyder renewed his support of the name in a letter to season ticket-holders. "You dont want to minimize anything thats going on outside of these walls, but inside these walls we have to focus on football and thats what our goal has to be," Griffin said. BEVY OF RECEIVERS: Dallas rookie Terrance Williams had a career-high 151 yards with Miles Austin out for a second straight game with a hamstring problem. It appears Austin will be back, which means Romo has six guys who have made big plays in the passing game this year. Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, Gavin Escobar and Cole Beasley are the others. "Theres no other way to put it," said Bryant, who has six touchdowns. "We are explosive. Thats our identity: our explosive offence." BACK FROM SUSPENSION: Defensive end Jarvis Jenkins and linebacker Rob Jackson will play their first games for the Redskins since their four-game suspensions ended last week. Jenkins tested positive for a banned performance enhancing substance, while Jackson was suspended under the NFLs drug policy. Both said their violations were unintentional. QB PRESSURE: These teams are trending in opposite directions with the pass rush. The Cowboys had just one sack total against Rivers and Manning after getting 13 the first three games. The Redskins had a season-high seven against the Raiders, just the second time theyve had that many since 2010. ___ Online: AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org ___ Follow Schuyler Dixon on Twitter at https://twitter.com/apschuylerCheap Pittsburgh Penguins Jerseys .com) - St. Louis Blues right wing Vladimir Tarasenko, Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk and Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury have been selected as the NHLs top players for last week. A born showman, Djokovic always has fun with the New York crowd at the U.S. Open. When on a game point Monday he shanked an overhead into the net, the Serb did push-ups in penance. It was the first time playing at the Garden for both. "I was amazed by the size of it," Djokovic said. "With the history in the world of sports and entertainment and music, its probably the most impressive and most important indoor facility in the world." Murray grimaced more than once after an unforced error as if he were a few miles away at Flushing Meadows. But he also high-fived a fan after hooking in a winner down the line. And the Brit provides plenty of entertainment value simply with his ability to run down nearly every ball. Chasing a drop shot in the first set, Murray wound up all the way on Djokovics side of the court, bumping into a TV camera along the way. Djokovic went over and jokingly massaged Murrays quad, lest he need a medical timeout. During one changeover, they pulled their phones out of their bags and met at the net to take a couple of selfies. Both tweeted them during the next break. "We might never get the chance to play here again," Murray said. "Wanted to enjoy it. Hope eeveryone who came along had a good time as well.dddddddddddd That was the whole point today." And hes in a good mood after his surgically repaired back held up well following four matches in four days in Acapulco last week. There were the obligatory exhibition shenanigans: between-the-legs shots, pulling a kid from the crowd to play a point. In a bit of a twist, Djokovic invited reigning Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli, who has since retired, from the stands to briefly take his place. Murray welcomed her by launching a serve as hard as he could that had the Frenchwoman ducking. Bartoli then ably exchanged groundstrokes with Murray in high-top canvas sneakers that were more fashion than function. The BNP Paribas Showdown opened with the Bryan brothers beating the McEnroe brothers 8-3 in doubles. John McEnroe added a little sizzle to the meeting a few months ago when he made some harsh comments about the current state of doubles, suggesting that top players today are the guys who werent athletic enough to make it in singles. While Bob and Mike Bryan insisted there were no hard feelings, they respectfully disagree with his opinion, and they played Monday with the seriousness of an ATP Tour match. There was no aiming any slams toward Johns head. Instead, they picked on Patrick McEnroes volleys — he doesnt play as much these days as his more-successful older brother. The twins needed 44 minutes to win the single pro set. ' ' '
